Kellisha “Kay” Priester

I’ve worked in the field of "Healing Arts"" for the past 14 years. My personal life experiences combined with my professional background has exposed me to the consequences of substance use, violence, grief & loss, economic hardship and generational trauma. I believe in the power of self-healing as well as the undeniable growth and strength that prevails when the family heals as a whole.

Walking with families as they confront traumatic/stressful life experiences is my greatest passion. I have been fortunate to gain experience and training in Community Mental Health, Clinical Therapy, Substance Misuse, Juvenile Justice and Multidimensional Family Therapy. I’ve had the opportunity to connect with and support individuals across the age span. I am currently a Clinical Family Therapist utilizing the Multi-dimensional Family Therapeutic approach. My clients are adolescents between the ages of 12-18 who struggle with substance misuse and problem behaviors.

When I am not in a Clinical setting, most of my time is spent parenting my 17½  year old son and 12 year old daughter, and volunteering for community service projects. I recently retired my marathon shoes to return to my first love - swimming! As a Florida native the water holds a special place in my heart!
